I have tried writing a blog countless times before, but for some reason I've never written more than two or three entries before deleting the blog. This is mostly because of my lack of time and enthusiasm for writing the entries. But now I find myself writing yet another one and hoping I can actually get it going for real this time. Maybe I should share something about myself as this is the first log entry in the blog.
My name is Jami. I'm a 18 year old guy from a small town in Southern Ostrobothnia, Finland. I go to high school (senior year yay!) and at the moment it's taking most of my time. In my spare time I like to read, play videogames, listen to music, watch anime and recently My Little Pony too. I usually use a different nic on other forums but after almost 8 years of use, it's starting to sound a bit old so I decided to change it. I don't know where I got the nic Jearnian, but it sounded cool and fresh in my tiny little brain so I decided to use it.
Like I mentioned I like My Little Pony and at the moment it's the biggest time consumer in my life after school. Mostly this is due to a site I found where people write their on fanfiction stories about the MLP universe. Although I like the original series and can't wait for the third season to air (November 10th!) I find some of the fanfictions very much addictive :) I like to read the stories but recently I started to write my own story too! You can imagine my surprise when in less than 24 hours over 30 people actually favorited my story :D I realize that's not much, but I'm still so darn overjoyed to find that some people actually like my story so far!
With the first set of my final exams over I thought I'd have more time for my hobbies, but oh how wrong can a human being be... I find myself buried in schoolwork and I am NOT enjoying it. Especially because for some reason I can't seem to get anything done outside school. I understand everything in class and I pass the tests without breaking a sweat, but right now I should be writing a 3 to 6 page essay for my Finnish class. And as if that weren't enough, I have three more essays waiting for me after that! Maybe I should end this here and go tackle those essays instead.
